This software turns the built in wireless card in ASUS laptops into a local access point for a Wi-Fi network.
This software turns an ASUS laptop into a wireless router/Wi-Fi access point. There are often situations where you are able to access the Internet via one connection available. But you need a quick meeting or sharing between family members needing some means of sharing this connection with other laptops and mobile devices. These may include iPad like tablets and mobile phones. Laptops come with a wireless card that is meant to be used for accessing the Internet via Wi-Fi networks. However, when the main laptop can be connected with an available landline, the wireless access resources could be used for sharing. This has a simple and easy to use interface. It is intuitive enough that most users should get familiar with it quite easily. Getting productive with it should not take much time. You have to activate this application that lets you set it up as a Wi-Fi router.
When you do that, there will be other laptops that need to access this hotspot. The program has a button to let you connect to the hot-spot with a single click. If you are on the road and need to set up a meeting in your hotel room and there’s only one Ethernet connection available, then this tool can provide a handy solution for your colleagues to connect easily. There will not be a need for carrying a wireless router in addition to your laptop to be able to set up these simple networks quickly and easily. The network that you set up is secure and will need passwords to connect to it. Most mobile devices are supported. Devices like iPhone, HTC (Windows Mobile) etc. could be connected easily. This is a good product. It has many useful features.
